Moodle MOOC 6

Hello teachers!

This is my final mission of this course about ICT's. It has been an amazing experience to see how my classmates have presented their e-publications, explaining to us the tools they have used and their opinions.

I'm really glad of all of them!

Unfortunately, I have had problems with  my microphone, I didn't know how to solve it and I have not been able to carry out my presentation. But nonetheless I want to say that the creation of this eBook has been amazing! I'm really proud of my work, I didn't know that I could create things like that.

So now, it's time to keep working on it and teach our future students the amount of things that we can do using ICT's.

Digital interactive CLIC artifacts: Picasso

Hi everybody!

As you know, as a final mission of this amazing adventure creating our eBook, we have to develope two tasks proposed for our students.

I have chosen two tasks, the first one to work with the painter Diego Velázquez and the second one to work with the ideas of Pablo Picasso.

I'm going to describe in which consist my two artifacts and what the students should do in each activity.

First of all, I want to remeber you that my eBook is divided in three parts. We have missions to learn about Velázquez's work, missions to learn with Picasso's work and finally two activities to discover the connection between these two painters.

I have chosen task four about Picasso

Steps and conditions to follow by the students:

  1. Choose a topic (poverty, contamination, corruption...)
  2. Create a collage (take into account to include elements related with the topic).
  3. Then post in the classroom blog your collage an a short explanation about what do you want to represent with the collage.
  4. Once finished, it's time to play, upload your collage to Jigsaw Planet, create a puzzle and share it with your classmates. They have to build on the puzzle to know what is the collage about.

Final result:

I have created a collage about the poverty. Using different elements related with the topic.

This collage shows representative elements of the poverty. In the bottom of the picture we can see different silouetes of people begging for money. We also can see the word POVERTY in the middle of the collage and three hands triying to reach the money. Finally on the sides we can see Africa and India two of the poorest places in the world.

As a final activity the students will transform their collage into a puzzle and they will share it with their partners.
Puzzle: Collage about...

Tools used to create the mission:

The principal tool used is Online Photo EditorPixlr Editor is a robust browser photo editor, for all your editing needs. You have full control over your images, including layers and effects.

Another tool used is Jigsaw Planet, to create the puzzle of our collage and then share it as an embeded code to our partners.

HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!

Collaborative flyer that supports learners

Hi bloggers!

My peer @MartaLFabero28 and I have created a collaborative presentation to support the learning of our students in our eBooks. My idea with this flyer is to help my pupils and encourage them to find creative ways of connecting the experiences of this two painters.

We have created this flyer using two tools. The first one, Pixton to create my characters (Velázquez and Picasso) and the second one, Canva to add Marta's background and create the flyer.

And this is our final result!

Audio challenge

Good morning peers!

I have created this audio challenge to encourage my students to participate and enjoy with the different tasks of my eBook and to make them think and discover by themselves the relationship between Velázquez and Picasso.

Finally about the tool, I have used Kizoa to create this audio.

I have to say THANK YOU to my peers @Nora_LomasG , @estefaniablanch and @MartaLFabero28  because they have helped to record my audio challenge.

Hope you like it! :)

Final video challenge

Hello bloggers! :)

Finally here it is our Video Challenge!

After showed to you in the last post the draft of our Video Challenge, where we combined four ebooks in one creating an amazing story, we are ready to show it to you.

This video is about a boy whose name is Pedro Picasso. We are in the year 5302 and all the humans live in another planet called Electron. Pedro is a 14 years old teenager, family of the famous painter Pablo Picasso. All the members of the family have a an extraordinary talent but he does not find his own talent, moreover he loves junk food and he is a bit messy. After a very bad day he has a dream where he talks with his great great great father Picasso and Velázquez and they advise him to feel proud of what he does because his work expresses what he feels.

This dream makes him realize that he needs a change. So he speaks with his teacher and his mother and start a new healthier and happy life.

The main purpose of this video is to narrate the life of Pedro Picasso, in an entertaining way, so this will help the learners to feel motivate.

To create this video we have used the tool Kizoa. This app is very engaging and easy to use. It allows you:

  • To create videos using the photographs or pictures from the tool or your own photographs.
  • To choose your own music or the music from the app.
  • To add transitions, animations, effects, text...

I think that Kizoa is a tool very complete and visual but it has a problem. After create the video you can not share it via email, or as a HTML code in a blog or save it in your personal computer. You just can upload the video to Youtube or share it on Twitter.

HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

Video Challenge Storyboard

Good afternoon to everybody! As you know, I am currently creating an ebook which is going to be about two connected painters, Velázquez and Picasso.

In order to make it more creative and fun, we have created a collaborative video challenge. In this video we have combined four ebooks about:

How have we done this? Well, creating an amazing story.

With the purpose of organize and to have an idea frame by frame of what is going to be included, we have made a comic with the tool Pixton. Then with Kizoa we will create our video adding music and effects.

Pixton is very simple to use, you just have to chose the number of frames you want to design and start dragging elements like characters, dialogue, scenes and customize whatever you want.

With this storyboard you can make an idea about how the video is going to be.

Enjoy with this story!

Ebook Cover

Hi everybody! I have designed the cover for my eBook! I have used Photo Effects and Blabberize. First of all I used Photo Effects to create this unusual Menina and then I used the tool Blabberize to make her talk. Remember to listen carefully because she has a message for you.

Infographic and Mind-map

Once I finished with my skeleton I summarize the information, using two of my favourite tools (Canva and Lino it), in order to make this amount of information more visual and engaging.

I created an infoEDUgraphic, which is a type of presentation and an online mindmap
